Jewish Federation of Cincinnati
My position as Graphic Design Manager (2019-2021) and as Design Contractor (2023 - present) has involved working closely with the Account Executive, copywriters, project manager, and clients to deliver website, email design, marketing campaign materials, brochures, event materials, social media graphics, motion graphics, high-level video editing, and anything else the clients need.
Website Management
You can visit the full website at jfscinti.org. I worked as the sole designer from brainstorm to launch, sourced and selected all photography and graphics, used custom HTML/CSS, worked closely with writing team and client, and worked through the full launch to work out bugs.
I managed the refresh of StarPoint Home Care’s website, I redesigned AgeWell Cincinnati Concierge’s website (formerly Carelink), designed microsites for Jewish Family Service Adult Day Services, Youth Mental Health, and event webpages as needed. I manage all graphic needs for these websites, as well as AgeWell Cincinnati, event management on JLive, our quarterly email newsletter, any additional emails that are sent out, annual appeal letter layout and design, social media graphics, and all other event, marketing, signage, or graphic needs.
I actively engage in client meetings to provide expertise and a marketing perspective to planning and strategy to ensure our client receives efficient and effective solutions and service from the start.
In 2023, I was tasked with migrating jfscinti.org to WordPress to improve search engine optimization. I did research and gathered quotes from design agencies, migration services/tools, and an agency that specializes in migrating to WordPress. I researched our current SEO shortfalls and in the process, discovered our SEO was not properly linked to Jimdo (jfscinti.org’s CMS) and therefore, was not tracking results accurately. After correcting this error and tracking results over a month, it was clear that our SEO was performing and there was room for improvement, but it was not needed to migrate to WordPress. I presented to our CEO, President, and other leaders to share this information, the quotes and timeline of migrating through an external resource, as well as the cost of me migrating manually. It was unanimous to stay with Jimdo and work on the minor improvements (which I executed) and our SEO continues to perform and show up in results.

Annual Meeting Design
Each year, we host an Annual Meeting with 150+ attendees. I design the brand (partnering with Copywriter, CEO, and President to develop the theme of the meeting), and following the brand and theme, I design a 6-page Annual Report, website graphics, email graphics, social media graphics, and any other needs for the event itself such as centerpiece decor, table tents, podium sign, and motion graphics for the videos produced by our marketing team and video editor. Below is a sampling of the designs and you can view the full Annual Report here.
